This section will guide you towards the class that could fit your type of gameplay regarding Challenge Modes (CMs) + Tier 4 (T4) fractals and recommended for Tier 4 (T4) only classes.

Meta builds

These builds provide the quickest runtimes for your Challenge Modes! Also great for Tier 4 dailies.

Soulbeast1. High learning curve, hard to master

2. High damage

3. Can extend all boons on yourself

4. Need good knowledge of fights for positioning

5. Harder to play without a static

Weaver
1. High learning curve, hard to master

2. High, consistent damage, very squishy

3. Reliant on other classes for boons like Alacrity, Quickness

4. You are a source of Might and Fury by blasting fire fields (even during a fight)

5. You will be top damage on almost all bosses if you have the needed boons

Renegade1. Low learning curve, hard to master

2. Least damage out of the three meta supports, but your damage still counts

3. You are responsible for boons like Alacrity, Might and Protection

1. Low learning curve, hard to master

2. Out of the three meta supports, you have the most damage

Firebrand
1. Medium learning curve

2. You are the second most damage dealing support, above the Renegade

3. You are responsible for boons like Quickness, Aegis and Might

4. If needed, you can provide more boons like Resistance and Stability

5. You give the group a damage buff by using

6. In fast runs, for faster kill times, you can swap to Dragonhunter on all 99CM bosses

6. In very fast runs, where Aegis can be upkept, Core Guardian provides more damage than Dragonhunter

Offmeta builds

These builds can be swapped out with meta builds for Challenge Modes, but the kill times will be slower! Also great for Tier 4 (T4) dailies.

Power Holosmith1. High learning curve, hard to master

2. High, consistent damage

3. Your CC (Crowd Control) is the highest of the offmeta dps classes

2. High, consistent damage, good cleave

3. You provide yourself boons such as Quickness and Might

4. Highest survivability out of the offmeta dps classes

5. Can boonrip for the team if No Pain, No Gain is present

1. Low learning curve, hard to master

2. High damage on short fights, drops later on

3. You are squishy, but out of the offmeta dps classes, you have the second most survivability

Condi Firebrand1. Low learning curve

2. Huge burst damage, out of the Tier 4 and Offmeta supports, you have the most damage

3. You are responsible for boons like Quickness, Aegis and Might

4. If needed, you can provide more boons like Resistance and Stability

1. Medium learning curve

2. Low damage, high healing output

3. You are responsible for boons like Alacrity, Might and Protection

Power Tempest1. Medium learning curve

2. Excellent cleave damage, ideal for groups of mobs

3. You can provide Might and Fury for the group
